What We Do

Applied AI for serious industries

Summit Applied Intelligence is an Anchorage-based AI implementation firm. We build working systems. Not strategies, not prototypes, not pilots that never ship.

Our background is in high-stakes, regulated production environments. Real-time fraud detection. Behavioral analytics at scale. Compliance infrastructure under live regulatory scrutiny. That foundation shapes how we work and what we deliver.

Alaska is our home market. We understand its constraints better than any outside firm.

What we implement

Six AI implementation tracks. Each one scoped around specific outcomes, not deliverable documents.

Process Automation We map the manual operations consuming your labor budget and replace them with AI workflows. Document OCR, data entry, structured reporting, and form completion at scale. Human review reserved for genuine exceptions only, not routine processing.
Predictive Analytics Forecasting models and risk scoring built for your specific operational environment using data you already have. Demand forecasting, anomaly detection, and dashboards that surface what matters without requiring a data science team to interpret them.
AI Decision Systems Human-in-the-loop systems that surface what needs attention, prioritize exceptions, and accelerate decisions. Triage systems, review queues, and full audit trail architecture built for regulated environments where accountability stays with your team.
Fraud and Compliance AI Behavioral pattern modeling, real-time anomaly detection, and automated compliance reporting from direct experience in adversarial, multi-jurisdictional regulatory environments. Built for environments where accuracy is not negotiable.
Workforce Multiplier Tools AI documentation copilots, intelligent intake systems, and capacity expansion tools. Managers using AI consistently report 5x productivity gains. We build the systems that deliver that across your entire operation, not just for one power user.
AI Strategy and Roadmapping For organizations not sure where to start. We identify the highest-ROI automation targets, define measurable success criteria, and build a sequenced implementation plan tied to real budget and timeline. Honest about what makes sense and what does not.

Why Alaska

Alaska is not a side market for Summit Applied Intelligence. It is the entire focus. The operational constraints unique to this state: remote deployment, extreme seasonal variability, workforce shortages, and a regulatory environment that differs substantially from the lower 48, shape every system we design.

Most AI firms with serious implementation capability are not here. They serve large coastal markets where the returns are easier and the conditions are simpler. We are here because Alaska needs this and because we are from here. That is a real competitive advantage for our clients.

How We Work

Concept to production. Fast.

No six-month discovery phases. No strategy reports that gather dust. We scope fast, validate against your real data, and ship working systems in production before your next board meeting.

01
Assess and Scope

We map your operations to identify where AI creates the clearest financial return. We define success in specific, measurable terms before writing a line of code. If the ROI is not there, we say so upfront.

02
Validate Against Real Data

Rapid prototyping against your actual operational data, not benchmark datasets. We prove the approach works in your specific environment before committing full budget to a build.

03
Build and Deploy

Production-grade build with security and compliance architecture from day one. HIPAA, EPA, and federal data standards are designed in, not retrofitted. Working systems ship in weeks, not quarters.

04
Monitor and Evolve

We stay embedded after launch. Ongoing monitoring, performance tracking, and iteration as your operations grow. We measure against the success criteria defined at the start and keep improving.

Principles

A few things we believe

We do not deliver prototypes as final outputs

Every engagement ends with working software running in production. Advisory deliverables are not what we sell. If we cannot scope to production, we say so upfront.

Humans stay accountable

We build AI that augments judgment, not replaces it in high-stakes decisions. Every system has clear human review points. Accountability stays with your team.

We are honest when AI is not the answer

We tell clients when the data is not ready, the return does not justify the investment, or a simpler solution would serve them better. That honesty protects your budget.

Compliance is built in from day one

Security and compliance architecture is designed into the system from the first line of code, not added as an afterthought before deployment.

About

Built by operators,
not consultants

Founded in Anchorage to give Alaska's industries access to AI implementation experience that has only been available to companies on the coasts.

Our background is in high-stakes, regulated production environments. Real-time fraud detection processing thousands of transactions per second. Behavioral analytics platforms operating under live regulatory scrutiny across multiple jurisdictions. Compliance infrastructure where a failure means a revoked operating license.

That is a different starting point than a consulting firm that learned about AI recently. We have shipped systems where getting it wrong has real consequences. That experience translates directly to healthcare, oil and gas, government, and the other industries where Alaska operators cannot afford to be a test case.

We are based in Anchorage because Alaska is where we see the clearest gap between the operational problems industries face and the AI solutions available to them. Most firms with serious AI capability are not here. We are.

Alaska is not a side market. It is the entire focus.

Production or nothing

Every engagement ends with working software in your environment. Advisory deliverables are not what we sell.

ROI defines scope

Every project is sized against a specific financial return. If we cannot identify the return, we narrow the scope until we can.

Alaska expertise is real

Remote deployment, extreme conditions, and Alaska-specific regulatory requirements shape every system we build here.

Honest scoping

We tell you when AI is not the right tool. That honesty protects your budget and builds a better long-term relationship.

The Client

Luckbox

Luckbox is an iGaming platform operating across multiple jurisdictions, each with distinct fraud and AML regulatory requirements. The platform processes a high volume of real-money transactions continuously. Compliance failures create immediate regulatory exposure and licensing risk.

The Problem

Manual review could not scale

As transaction volume grew, manual fraud review fell behind. The team processed alerts with inconsistent prioritization and no ability to identify coordinated patterns across accounts. Compliance reporting required manual pulls across multiple systems, and the time lag created regulatory risk. Requirements differed by jurisdiction and keeping up manually was not sustainable.

What We Built

A layered behavioral intelligence system

A multi-layer detection architecture that processes every transaction in real time against behavioral baselines, peer group comparisons, and known fraud pattern signatures. Rather than static rules that sophisticated actors learn to evade, the system builds dynamic behavioral profiles and scores transactions continuously.

Each transaction routes to one of three handling tracks: automatic clearance, exception review, or immediate escalation. Human review concentrates where it adds real value. Compliance reporting generates automatically, formatted to each jurisdiction's requirements, with a full audit trail of every detection decision.

The Outcome

Sub-200ms latency, reporting fully automated

Detection latency under 200 milliseconds means flagging happens within the transaction flow, not as a post-processing step. Compliance reporting runs on automated schedules with no manual data preparation. Manual review volume dropped substantially as the tiered system routes low-risk transactions out of the queue automatically.

Additional Work

Analytics and workflow automation

We also built a real-time player behavior analytics platform replacing fragmented manual reporting with continuous visibility into activity patterns and lifetime value modeling. Operational workflow automation across payments reconciliation, escalation routing, and compliance reporting cut manual touchpoints by approximately 60 percent.
